Maureen Kenny, LMFT, DMT-R

​

Maureen is an open-minded and compassionate therapist who helps clients feel safe and empowered in their therapy process. She provides integrative psychotherapy which strengthens clients’ connection to their mind, body and emotions. This holistic approach supports their ability to grow beyond emotional injuries and limited beliefs learned about themselves in the past. She guides clients to develop a nurturing relationship with themselves, and to create healthy relationships with others.

Maureen is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 25 years experience treating a wide range of psychological issues. She received her BA in Psychology at University of Arizona, and her Masters Degree in Movement Therapy at Loyola Marymount University. She is a Certified Practitioner of Integrative Body Psychotherapy, and is a Registered Dance Movement Therapist. Her theoretical orientation incorporates Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral, and Somatic Therapy. She treats individual adults and couples who are  seeking therapy for issues of relationship boundaries, codependency, grief and loss, anxiety, women’s issues, spirituality, and life transitions.

Maureen enjoys helping clients to learn skills for active change to meet their specific goals. She offers a personalized approach to support each client toward developing a healthy sense of self and well being.
